Amazing job to our neighbors at Coast Guard Station Eatons Neck. Four of their members were off duty when coming back from surfing, stepped up and helped save the life of a Suffolk County Police Officer in the Great South Bay. Over the past year we've had the privilege of working more alongside the crew and this comes as no surprise to any of us. Well deserved!
With this nor'easter about to hit, we want the Eaton's Neck community to know that we are ready for whatever comes our way. If the road floods or breaches, a dune fails, or the Asharoken seawall collapses, we are here and we are prepared. Our high-water rescue vehicle has been prepped and is ready to remove patients in the event of an emergency. If we need to, Northport Fire Department will meet us on the other side. Stay safe.
